I’m Sydney.
I’m so glad you’re here! I am a photographer based in Huntsville, AL. I’m a pretty laid back person and I want to be someone who brings a peaceful presence behind the camera. My goal is to make you feel comfortable through a little bit of guidance, but the real magic happens when I step back and capture those few seconds in between poses! I always aim to deliver galleries full of photos with variety, emotion, and moments you didn’t even know happened.
A little bit about me.
I married my best friend, Thomas, in 2022 Asheville, NC. We had a small intimate ceremony in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our wedding day was chaotic and rainy, and ended with a rainbow & a muddy dress. And it was perfect.
Motherhood is what I am most passionate about! I started out as a wedding photographer, but having a baby of my own is what sparked my love for capturing little ones and families. It’s funny how your own life & experiences can shift what you are passionate about. I know just how fleeting time is now and I want to soak up every minute. If you’re here because you want to bottle up your own fleeting moments, I’ve got you.

I am based in East TN. I live in Athens, which is smack dab in the middle of Knoxville and Chattanooga - making it easy for me to hop on over to either of those cities and the Great Smoky Mountains!

2-3 weeks for sessions and 6-8 weeks for weddings/elopements. I will send sneak peeks within 3 days of your wedding (yay!)

On average, you can expect to receive around 50 images per hour of shooting. But there is no limit to the amount of photos that I deliver.

High Resolution images will be delivered through an online gallery. From there you can download, share, and post.

No. I only deliver images that I have culled through, edited, and retouched. Trust me, editing is half the magic!

We can’t control the weather so in the event of bad weather, we will reschedule. I’ll be in touch with you in the days leading up to your session and we will make the decision together! However, I only like to reschedule for heavy rain/storms. Every session is unique and sometimes overcast or windy days make for the best photos.
